Default Autocorrect disappears and I lose my own entries

When I start a document autocorrect is working fine and then inexplicably
reverts back to the default without all my entries. Please help - I've got
hundreds of short forms I use in there and it would take me hours to put them
all in again. I've restored my backed up autocorrect twice and then it works
for a little while and disappears again.

Default

I suggest you make sure you are on the most recent service
pack for your particular version of Word. Just visit
Microsoft's site and locate the appropriate page for your
version of Word.
