Default How do I get numbers labeling a graph to line up with the lines?

In Word, my graph captions sit under the box instead of on the lines where I
want them. How can I move them to appear in standard form, under the line
that represents them? Thanks.

Depends what you mean by "graph captions." Which version of Word is this?
And are these data labels? If so, you can move the data labels, and you can
also, to some extent, change where the axis labels appear.
