Outlook 2003 keeps hanging on close, upgrade from Office Xp Pro

I have upgraded from Office Pro XP to Office 2003 Pro,
however after resolving the .pst files from my old outlook
to new, consistently, Outlook 2003 hangs on exit and I
can't recover it without a reboot or re-install.

I am running Office Xp Pro.

Any ideas/help ?
