Default Office Closing When Pressing the Minimumize Button

Why? Is my office closing when I press my minimumize button? This very
annoying ...

Any suggestions?

Maybe it is just not showing it in the taskbar? Can you "Alt-Tab" back
to it?

No, I cannot ALT-TAB back. It isn't there.

I even looked in the PROCESSES tab of the task manager and it isn't listed
there.

Ok, since Office isn't an application and you will not see Office in the
taskmanager, which application in Microsoft Office are you using? Word,
Excel, Access? Also what version of the application is involved and
operating system?

Start Outlook, Right click on the Outlook Icon in the Windows Taskbar
Notification area and Uncheck "Hide when minimized"
