Lost Installation Disk
I'm posting this question for my sister, who just purchased a laptop for her
DH who is leaving for Afghanistan next week. She didn't buy Office because she was told she had up to 3 licenses with her Office 2000 Pro on her desktop. Problem is she doesn't have the installation disks, just the license number. How can she get this program loaded to the laptop? |

How can she get this program loaded to the laptop? Without the disks she can't. Also, Office 2K Pro did not allow 3 simultaneous installations on 3 different computers. Only a maximum of 2. Find the disk as it is no longer available from Microsoft. |

In addition, you can download the free program Open Office from www.openoffice.org and use it without problem for most Microsoft Office Program data files. |

Lost Installation Disk
First I'm not aware of any three license version of Office 2000 Pro ever
being sold. Secondly without a CD she isn't even able to RE-install it on the desktop should the need arise. Looks like she will need to purchase a current version of Office for the laptop if it needs to be on it. They say amazon.com has good prices and you get the install media. So I'd suggest shopping there. kjwarnold wrote: I'm posting this question for my sister, who just purchased a laptop for her DH who is leaving for Afghanistan next week.
