Default Time and Billing Database from MS Office Online

I downloaded the Time and Billing Access Database from MS Office Online templates. It is for Access 2000 and I have Access 2003. The forms work properly on a computer with 2000, but the totals have error messages on the "view expenses" page. I read that Access 2003 could read databases from previous versions without converting.

How can I get the database to function properly with Access 2003?

Thank you

I'm a bit at a loss here. I just downloaded the Time and Billing Template,
opened without difficulty in Access 2003, and I don't find a "view expenses"
option. Could you clarify? There is a "Enter/View Expense Codes" on the page
that "Enter/View Other Information" on the main switchboard takes you to --
it worked just fine for me. There is an expenses subform on the "Enter/View
Time Cards" Form.

Could it be that you are trying to open the Form that is intended to be
embedded in the Expenses Subform _directly_ and encountering errors.

This template application is very, very picky about how you do things -- too
picky for my taste. I was going to "take the easy way out" and use it to
prepare invoices for a contract assignment -- but to get it to do things
anywhere near "my way" I had to put more work into changing it than I'd
likely have had to do to create what I wanted from scratch. Unfortunately,
the heavily modified version (which still isn't great) is no longer a
"finished application" that I could post for someone else to use.
