Default Address not showing in Contact view or individial contact window

This is the oddest thing..... I have just noticed (as I was about to do a
label mail merge) that some of the mailing address for some of my contacts
are not displaying in the contacts view or in the individual address box in
the individual contacts window.

However, when I click on the Home or Business button (which ever one is the
mailing address) another window pops up with the "Check Address" information.
It's populated correctly. I click "OK" and then it closes but there is still
no address information in the windo or on the main contacts list.

The odd thing is, it's only happening for some contacts and not for
others.... anyone have any idea what this could be?

Haven't seen this so far. Can you think of any changes you made to your
installation recently? Are you using a local data file or Exchange Server?
Anything unique about the Contacts that are showing this problem?

Hi Russ

It's odd..... when the "Check Address" box comes up, if I then make a small
change in there (such as remove a space etc.) and hit OK, then it shows up in
the box and in there I can edit it back to how it should be.

I did import the contacts in from my .pst file which was Outlook 2000
based.... I dunno... maybe it's one of those things. I have manually fixed
them all now....

Sounds like you broke the link between your Contacts Data and your
autoresolution file. This is one of the many reasons we advise against
importing any Outlook Data. All links are broken and other data is lost as
well. Next time just reuse the data file, or open it and copy from it. Never
import it.
