Default Swtichboard/MDAC Errors

Hi there,

every time I try and utilise a database with a switchboard in, I get Visual
Basic run-time error which falls over with the 'Set con =
Application.CurrentProject.Connection' line in the srcipt.

Having done some digging, this looks like a problem with the MDAC files
being corrupted (just from reading web-sites etc.).

It reads as though this can only be repaired with a full XP re-install (I've
already tried re-installing Office 2003 with no joy)...

I've run the Microsoft Component Checker and it's come back with some
mismatches and not found entries, but I'm clueless as to how/if it's possible
to fix these...

Can post the .xml from the Component Checker if it helps.
This is all way above my knowledge, so be gentle...!
Cheers
