Default 2003 TOC and Styles

I have a document in which I have the style header 1 which is Arial and then
the next header is style 2 etc. and they all are Arial. Now I put in the
Table of Contents and the headers are different fonts. Header 1 is still
Arial but Header 2 is Times New Roman until it gets down to the 4th line then
it comes in as Arial. What am I doing wrong or how do I fix this problem? I
know I can hit font on the left mouse button but I need to try to fix this so
others don't have this problem.

The formatting of TOC entries are determined by the corresponding TOC style
(TOC 1 for level 1, TOC 2 for level 2). However, direct formatting added to
headings will be reflected in the TOC. How did you format the headings in
the document?
