Default close from event handler or presentationopen fire every time

Does anybody know a way to get the event handler to close PowerPoint
completely and/or a way to get PresentationOpen or AfterPresentationOpen to
fire each time a presentation is opened, even if PowerPoint was completely
closed?

sorry, just thought it might simplify things by starting over with a clearer
explanation of what the problem is. So, do you know how to fix it?
