Default Cannot View Drop-down Selections

I am not familiar with Access, so please bear with me as I try to explain the
problem. I have Access 2003 SP3 running on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server,
and the user has an Access form pulling data from an Access database.

When the user open this form, there are a number of fields where she can
type in data, and then there are two drop-down fields where data pulled from
another Access database appears. For example, the database is video library
rentals, and one drop-down field contains the ID of the video and the other
the location.

The following problem started just a few months ago. When the user clicks
the arrow next to the ID field, the drop-down selections display but cannot
be read (everything is displayed as solid white). There is data, because if
the user mouses over the list, selections will highlight black as each one is
rolled over, and if a selection is clicked, then the list closes and the new
selection is displayed in the field and is readable. Also, the location field
within the same form displays its information correctly when the drop-down
list is used.

If I log onto a Windows 2000 TS running Access 2003 SP2, or log onto a
Windows Server 2003 TS running Access 2003 SP3, everything works just at it
should and the drop-down lists show all video IDs and are readable. I also
used Access 2007 on my desktop, and again, everything is working fine.

Do any of you have any suggestions as to what may be the problem? I have no
idea what is going on unless there was some update installed that altered
Access in some way, but then I do not understand why one drop-down list would
fail and the other within the same form would work fine.

Your assistance is appreciated!

my exact same problem and it was fixed in an earler message:

There is a hotfix available for incorrect values in Access 2003 after you
install Office 2003 Service
Pack 3." And a few more problems SP3 introduced.

Description of the Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package:

I have created a form that has one combo box on it, ftom the the user
clicks on the list of available "account codes" then hits a command button
that produces the report, It works fine in Access 2000, Access 2003 and
Access 2007, now place the exact same data base in a machine with Access
2003 with SP3, the combo box text comes up blank - you can click on thr
account codes and produce the report, but thr account codes are not
visible - as if their font color is set to white (which is not) I have
re-created the form in thr Access 2003 SP3 machine with no luck!
Any ideas why? or on how to remove SP3?

Thank you
