Org. Chart Shapes - Border Line Style
How do you change line border of the Executive Shape from a double line to a
single line border. I can change it to a dotted line but cannot find how to change to a single line like the Position shape. THX! Fritz Visio 2003, WinXP |

Select the executive with the border problem. Right click and open the shape
sheet. Scroll to the geometry sections. For geometry 2, change the Geometry2.NoLine to true. That turns off the inner border. Close the shapesheet. WapperDude,
When I right click the excutive shape, then scroll down to shape, there is no selection for the shape sheet to get to the geometry. I even went through all the available selections but cannot find shape sheet or geometry. I am using Visio 2003. Am I missing something. Hello Fritz,
The 'Show ShapeSheet' context menu option only comes up in developer mode (see here for details - http://www.visguy.com/2008/08/04/top...eveloper-mode/) otherwise you can use Window / Show ShapeSheet. Best regards John John Goldsmith (Visio MVP) www.visualSignals.typepad.co.uk www.visualSignals.co.uk "fritz78" wrote in message ... WapperDude,
I found how to access the Shape Sheet, it was on the Window menu "Open Shape Sheet" and was able to change the geometry for the Exeuctive shape as you advised. Seems like a a strange way to do a simple border style adjustment. Then again I do not really understand Visio's methods. I'll read-up. THX again. First -- thanks John, forgot about being in developer mode.
Second -- Fritz78, in this particular case, the Executive shape is really two rectangles to give the illusion of double borders. I think it's more effective this way rather than grouping two shapes.
