Revealing Sender's Address Without Opening Mail
To improve my spam filtering, I'd like to see the sender's full email
address *without* opening the e-mail. I am using Outlook 2000 SR-1 (Build 9.0.0.3821). The "From" column will display "Sender Name", but I'd like to see ", or whatever it is, so I can setup permanent delete filters for certain domains. The only way I know how to see the full sender's address is to open the e-mail, then click on the "from" in the header. This, however, is liable to trip any imbedded code or cause a validation reply to be sent. Can this info be seen and displayed without opening the message? I've been looking for Outlook settings to make this possible, but I don't see any. Using Webmail from some of my ISPs I do have this feature, but at home, I prefer Outlook and would like to have this feature on my home system. |

Revealing Sender's Address Without Opening Mail
Have you tried right clicking on the item in the inbox and select options?

I had not tried this previously. I just did and it does what I want. Thank you! "Major Malfunction" wrote in message ...
