Default Fixing a sheet tab

For a workbook comprising many worksheets, enough that some of the sheet
tabs at the bottom are not visible, is there a way to freeze the left-most
sheet tab so that it isn't scrolled out of sight, that is, is always
available to click on?

My thanks in advance for any suggestions here.

Brad

For an easy "as built" navigation alternative, why not just right-click on
the
vcr-like buttons at the bottom left corner (just to the left of the sheet
tabs). You'd get a pop up sheet listing for easy selection to teleport you
to any desired visible sheet.
