Can't select multiple columns across screenview
I am trying to select multiple columns by clicking the field selector
and then dragging to include columns in the next screen over to the right. But as soon as my dragging-to-the-right reaches the right edge of the screen, the selection rapidly zooms all way to the very last column at the rightmost screen of my database. I can't seem to slow down the selection drag so I have any control over what columns get included. Help! |

Hi
Just to the left of the Formula Bar is the Name Box. You can type your selection in there if it makes life easier. Just click in the box and type A:H. When you hit Enter, columns A to H will be selected. -- Andy. "Rick Charnes" wrote in message om... Try clicking the first one, scroll to the last one, and while holding down
the Shift key, click on the last one. Another option would be to click on the first one, hold down the Ctrl key, and click on each additional one. Both options work in Excel, I could only get the first one to work in an Access table. Depending on where you're using this though, the second option may work. -- Wayne Morgan MS Access MVP "Rick Charnes" wrote in message om...
