Phantom Personal Folder
I have recently had to reformat my laptop and reinstall Outlook 2003. When I
copied the pst file that I backed up into the default location I ended up having 2 sets of personal folders-both identical in content. The 2nd personal folders was refusing to close and I get the error message "The set of folders could not be opened." whenever I click on it ,either to delete or close. I have run the scanpst.exe program as suggested in the help file but although this stated that it repaired some files I am still stuck with a second icon of personal folders that will not disappear. Any help greatly appreciated. |

Phantom Personal Folder
the easiest way to fix it is to delete the profile and create a new one.
