Default Where can i find trial software for office 97, 2000, or xp?

I accidentally got an upgrade version of office 2003 professional, and it
needs a previous version of 97, 2000, or XP to install. i tried it with the
trial 2003 version and it did not work. also, i have already installed this
program before, but i had format my computer and now it will not install.

The only trial version available right now is Office 2003. Anyway, a trial
of a previous version would not qualify you for the upgrade. Whenever you
upgrade, you are required to retain the product that you used to qualify for
the upgrade, otherwise the upgrade license is void.

Did you perhaps have a Microsoft Works or Works Suite CD? I don't know how
it installed before, I didn't do the installation.

You now need to spend another $15 and get Works 7.0 to enable you to
install Office upgrade. Check this link:

It leads you to Amazon website.

Works isn't a version of Office, it's entirely separate product but it
is a "qualifying" product that allows you to intall an upgrade version
of Office.

Glad you got it sorted out, enjoy!
