Default office 2003 plus photodraw 2

I'm runnign office 2003 and want to install my photodraw version 2, part of
my old office 2000.
May I leave the standard installation path (.../microsoft office/... )
without any feare of loosing something belonging to the of03 installation -
or should I use a different installation path.
What ist with all the othe stuff like tools, filters and so on. Do I have to
deselct them when already installes with the 2003 version?
horst

I have done this before and it can work - provided you do it right.

You should be alright leaving the install path to default.

The thing to do is ONLY install Photodraw. Switch ALL the the other things
OFF.

If you want any other Office elements, install the 2K3 versions - although
some things can coexist in different versions, you really need to install
the later version last. When installing earlier versions after later ones it
is important not to overwrite any files with earlier versions - the only
really safe way to achieve that is only to install things you know you don't
already have (like PhotoDraw)
