Not natively. A free PDF/XPS add-in for Office 2007 exists, and no add-in is
needed for Office 2010, which will be released shortly.

For pre-Office 2007, for PDF files, you need some kind of a 3rd party
product, such as PrimoPDF, PDFCreator (both of which are free) or Adobe
Acrobat (which is not free). I don't know of any add-ins to create XPS
files, but Google is your friend.

pdf and xps formats
are recent features to
the newer additions of
office.

however, you can find
several free pdf makers
on the net that can make
pdf's of your doc's.

you might want to lookup
such freeware as cutepdf,
primo pdf, et al.

There are several free programs that allow you to make PDFs by printing
from nearly any program; try googling for FREE PDF or similar terms.

The Save As PDF feature appeared only in Office 2007.

Several have suggested there are some free utils available, but depending
on your needs, you might consider a commercial product as well.

It not only serves as a Microsoft Office Add-in, but can be used in other
programs as well. Demo mode will watermark the PDFs so you can freely try
it out to see if it meets your needs.

Product Description - PDF-XChange Pro, MFG - Tracker Software Products Ltd
Internet Link - http://www.docu-track.com/home/prod_...dfxchange_pro/

I have used this program in the past with good results - it can operate
standalone or as:

MSOffice Toolbar Add-in for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Visio

Demo limitations of this product - "Please feel free to try any or all of
our evaluation versions - none have any kind of time limitation or function
restrictions, save that any documents converted to a PDF or an Imaging
format will contain a demo stamp/watermark."

Or for Office 2007 SP2. The SP seems to add the add-in automatically.
