Default find and replace

Does anyone know how or if you can customize the default display of the
"find and replace" option? I always want it to be configured as:

Find:

Options
Within Workbook
Search by Columns
Look in Values

vs. a simple "find what".

So, everytime i open an excel file, and do a find, it pulls up with those as
defaults.

Thanks.

Well, sadly, I'm not likely to be of much direct help. However:

I don't believe you can do this within the options of Excel (any version),
unless you are willing to write some code to automate the option. That is,
create a macro that does this, and add the macro to your QAT (Quick Access
Toolbar).

That said, I cannot give you the code, as I'm not a developer.

What I'd suggest, however, is that you post to one of the Excel (or
automation) newsgroups, where you'll likely find more folks who have
expertise in these areas. This (office.setup) group is generally more
focused on installation issues around the Office Suite.

Here are some sites that might give you more info about adding macros to the
QAT:

http://www.rondebruin.nl/imageqat.htm

I hope that's helpful, if not as specific as you hoped--
