I am trying to insert a pdf file into Publisher 2003?
Rob Giordano (Crash) was very
recently heard to utter: Why do you need to drop the pdf into pub though? Do you then create an layout around the pdf? If you are creating a newspaper in Publisher, and someone sends you an advertisement to include on one page in PDF format, you will want to drop the PDF file onto the Publisher page in the appropriate place. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |

I am trying to insert a pdf file into Publisher 2003?
I tried it as insert object...with one file it inserted fine and was
resizable, on another file it refused to display except as a pdf icon. I am trying to insert a pdf file into Publisher 2003?
AFAIK, it's not really either one. I believe it's essentially an instance of
Adobe Reader open within Publisher. I could be wrong though. I believe that is how all OLE objects work. If you didn't have Acrobat/Reader on your system, I don't think you will see a PDF when you attempt to OLE because the Adobe app is added to the OLE dialog when it's installed. -- Brian Kvalheim Microsoft Publisher MVP http://www.publishermvps.com This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
