Is there a way to delete the forward and backward navigation buttons at the bottom of the page

that are automatically create? I have set up hypelinks at the bottom left and if you just click
slightly off the hyperlink you will click the forward/backward button and advance to the wrong
slide. I know I could move the hyperlink but space in my presentation is at a premium!

Is this a PowerPoint file displayed as a slide show or have you saved it as web page?
