Migrate .pst from 2002 to 2003
Our office just migrated to SBS 2003 and Outlook 2003 on Exhange Server. I
backed up my .pst folder prior to these changes. None of my old info, mail, contacts etc. were transfered in the upgrade. I have my backup file. I tried to replace the new .pst file in Outlook 2003 with my backed up .pst file. When Outlook starts, it creates a new .pst file instead of using my back up. I renamed the back up file "outlook", but Outlook keeps defaulting to the new file it creates. Can anyone help? My desktop is Windows XP, SP2. Outlook 2003. |

Migrate .pst from 2002 to 2003
In OL open your pst, copy stuff to the new pst, close old backup pst
Never overwrite a pst, causes corruption. This assumes the backup file is actually a pst and it is located on your hd, with read only flag off "barry_s" wrote in message ...
