Default Download AOL mail?

Hi All,

Can Windows Mail be configured to set up an AOL account to download AOL
mail? or somehow to get AOL email down to the computer and read it with an
email program other than AOL's? I would like to download and keep old AOL
mail on my computer so I still have it after I cancel my AOL subscription.

Would this be possible with Windows Mail or if not with WM, with any other
means?

TIA for any ideas please!

katy

At AOL, use keyphrase "Open Mail Access".

I don't have nor use Windows Mail. I don't use betaware. Presuming
it is just another e-mail client and supports what e-mail clients are
supposed to support then the above articles should tell you how to use
AOL's IMAP server.
