Default Table boarder in PowerPoint 2007

How do I change the colour of boarders in a table (or a cell) I have inserted
into PowerPoint 2007.

In PowerPoint 2003 I use to right click on the table and go to 'format
table'... now 'format shape' has replaced it and when I go into change lines
/ colours etc... is all in grey in the background indicating that it's for
something else but I can't use it.

Any help out there?

When you click in the cell, do the Table Tools tabs become available?

Slightly hidden...
Double click on the table to bring up the Table Tools Design tab.
Set to No Borders.
Now, under Draw Borders, set it to a different "Pen Color".
Set it to All Borders again.
