Default Outlook 2003: Outlook Today

Love my XP and love my Outlook 2003 even more. The flexibility is phenominal. To think I almost listened to those tunnel-visioned critiques that said there wasn't much of a difference in '03.

SMALL PROBLEM: Just recently my "Outlook Today" ("OT") refused accepting customization. While I know the customization options are narrower here than in other parts of Outlook 2003, when I check on "Customize Outlook Today . . ." on the OT screen and select "Summer" and then "Save Changes" I get "Summer." But the moment I leave, it reverts to default on my return. Funny thing, when I get back in to customize, it shows the style as "Summer"; it just doesn't display it that way so that it "sticks." Please note: You know the little white box with the red "x" inside that you sometimes get when you don't get an image or graphic on the web? I've got two (2) in the OT customization screen. One in styles so I cannot see any thumbnail, and one near the top at the very left of the Customize Outlook Today bar right under the bar reading "Personal Folders -- Outlook Today Options." Repair and Detect did neither.

If this isn't up anyone's alley, I'd really appreciate a point in the right direction. It's not a major issue, but when you got 99.9% of what you want, that last .1% gets you the most frustrated.

Thank you.
