Default My send receive locks up after send then outlook locks up entirely

I have office 2003 Pro. My send recieve completes half way (after send) then
locks up. When I close Outlook and reopen it won't open. I tried detect
repair and am asked to load the Office 2003 Pro disc because of a missing
file only to have the file on the disc not be found. Help! Thanks! Lou

Do you have a virus scanner installed that integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration component of your virus scanner and try again.
