General-Why When I go to Post, I get a Pointing Yellow Finger

This is annoying, and I cannot figure out why sometimes it happens. I am
signed in and hit New, then Question. Sometimes I can post and sometimes
not.

The various web forums are merely a window into the NNTP server and provide
varying degrees of frustration. As Doug suggests using a newsreader should
