Default Recurring Calendar Events

Graeme,

Thank you SO MUCH for your detective work. I too have a Dell Laptop. Office Works was pre-installed, but I uninstalled it upon arrival and installed the full Office 2003.

I was doing okay until my laptop crashed for the second time. After the first crash, a whole new hard drive was sent to me, so it was clean and I had control over what was installed (more or less). After the second crash I guess I immediately went to the MS website to get updates, including Office updates. So, I wasn't sure what was caused the recurring error issue...until I saw your posting about removing the add-in. THAT is when the light bulb went off and I remembered what I did to make my computer better.

Thank you, thank you thank you! You have saved me from a MAJOR headache!

YTM Graeme!

Liz
