The only 'stupid question' is the unasked one.

advise me and give me the address of beginners' newsgrup

I do not know what method you are using to view this newsgroup but there is
one named New Users on the same level.

To find the Property window just click on the object, right click, scroll to
the bottom, and select Property.

I too am an Access beginner. I would highly recommend a book called "Step by
Step Microsoft Office Access" This book comes with a tutorial CD and very
easy to understand instructions. Over about a two week period, I literally
went through the entire book completing all of the practice sessions. I know
that it only scratches the surface, but I found it very easy to understand
and it was very helpful!
