Default Phantom address distribution list.

A few week ago I moved to a different computer and I transferred my address
list from "Outlook Express" on the old to "Outlook 2003" on the new.

Some how in the transfering the distribution lists would come up when I was
inputting the address on a new message but I could not find them to modify
under either the "contacts folder" or in the "address book" on the bacic
tool.

I could however create new distribution lists under contacts or address book
those behave properly.

Issue how do I delete the phantom lists (put a stake through its heart).

Outlook and Outlook Express have nothing in common. They are completely
separate programs. OE does not even have Distribution Lists so there is no
way you could expect Outlook to pick up DL's from OE.

Default Phantom address distribution list.

I believe you that Outlook and Outlook Express have nothing in common.
Perhaps my question used incorrect terminology. In my Outlook Express I was
able to create list of multiple addressees and use it to enter a single word
and send out a message to 50 people.

When I transferred over the file containing my contacts/addressees it
included these lists of multiple addressees.

Now when I start a new message I can select these multiple lists but I
cannot find them so as to modify or delete.

Answer remains the same. OE has groups. Outlook has DL's. OE's groups do not
become Outlook DL's and cannot function in Outlook.
