The old, dying came with the preinstallment, the new one didn't.

I've already bought an upgraded computer, the new one didn't come with
Office.

You have an "old" computer that's dying and came with Office HSE 2007
preinstalled? It's been out a year this week - isn't that computer
covered

And it's dead already? I'd be royally ticked off. Dead computer and no
Office software. I'd suggest calling the computer manufacturer. Nothing
