Default Print a Single Business Check in Word 2002?

Does anyone know how to set up MS Word 2002, or Even Excel 2002 so that (1)
Regular Style Standard Size Business Check can be Fed into the Laserjet
Printer, either end fed or Lengthwise, and it Prints all the Information
except where the Signature need
be done? Thanks.

Did you ever find an answer to this?

I know some blind people, who have computer systems, who face this problem
(personal checks though) and even buying a special printer for the checks
is not out of the question if you come across a solution.

thanks.

Usually check writing is handled by software such as Microsoft Money or
Quicken, which is set up to do this (and tied to financial records).

I'd guess that it's just a matter on measuring the physical check and
rebuilding a form with the correct form fields, taking into account a
decent OCR font and its character width at a given font size.

No idea whether anybody has done this before *and* offers the result for
free, but I don't see why this wouldn't work.

Default Print a Single Business Check in Word 2002?

Hi -

Thanks for the responses. I did figure that in the Long Term I probably need
Microsoft Money or quicken like Suzanne Sugguested. Actually I have Quicken
'97 - but its barely 1 Step forward from WFWG 3.11 in the Windows Options
Available, so you cant really do much by way of positioning the Payee or
Amount etc.

I did Locate something Via a Google search for $9.99 called 'print a check'
.....after I paid, they sent me a link to get the Full Version:
http://www.print-a-check.com/full20030728/

Seems to be ok - nothing Fancy, and works for me.
