Outlook Express Inbox problem
Curiosity got the better of me, and I did what you sugeested and it all works
fine again, so thanks. Now I just have the issue of the whole creating, opening, moving and renaming of mails being painfully slow. The entire OE folder where all the files are is around 800mb in total. Sorry about the spelling mistakes, I am dyslexic and turn off the spell checker to try to learn properly. Sorry that Poo Bear thinks it is funny to mock people like that. Thanks again Bruce. Cheers.M "Bruce Hagen" wrote: The second one was created on June 8, 2009. Your best tactic here I think would be to backup the message store and then
go to File | Identities and set up a new Identity. Then add your accounts and ensure it is working okay. Then use File | Import | Messages to import the messages from the older identity. Then back that up and in that Identity do a File | Folder | Compact all. That should clean and speed things up. steve "Mike Hoban" wrote in message ...
