Default possible to copy text and preserve strikethrough?

When copying text, we have found that if we choose "match destination",
attributes like bold are preserved, but effects like strikethrough are not.

Is there a way to cause strikethrough to be preserved? writing something in
vba is not out of the question if that's necessary.

thanks.

Chip
