Questions on resource mailboxes
We have just been thinking about the way we migrate our public folder calendars to resource mailboxes for direct booking of our meeting rooms.
I've got 2 problems I can't get sold out so far: -we should provide our users with additional information about metting room the are booking, like: equipment,etc...and also a possibility of adding a picture (map with location) is expected. If we create a resource mailbox for a meeting room where can we write these additional information? -we would like to create a read-only view with an overview above all resource mailboxes, so as users don't have add all of the resource mailboxes to see which one is not booked at the time... Thank you in advance for your opinions. |

Questions on resource mailboxes
1) You could put the extra information on a folder home page that uses the
Outlook View Control to show the calendar itself. 2) See http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/scheduleall.htm for various solutions. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Roman Cernovsky" wrote in message news We have just been thinking about the way we migrate our public folder calendars to resource mailboxes for direct booking of our meeting rooms. Questions on resource mailboxes
Thank you for your reply, but it strikes to me as if you meant adding additional information to a public folder calendar -we use a modified home page with the required information. Our problem is that as we will stop using booking resources in a public folder calendar, we have to provide users with these mentioned additional information. And I don't know where to put these info when we'll be using resource mailboxes....
