Default =Sheet2!G60 (Enter) Box appears "Update Values"

I want a cell in sheet 3 to update when I input data into cell G60 in sheet 2.
In the cell in sheet 3 I've typed : =Sheet2!G60
When I press enter, a box appears, "Update Values Sheet 2."I then have to go
to where I have the worksheet saved.
Why does it not just update without the need for all this?
