Default PDFMaker toolbar missing from Office 2007 Standard

How can I add the PDFMaker toolbar to Office 2007 Standard applications,
especially Outlook 2007? The PDFMaker toolbar is missing in Outlook 2007.

The COM Add-in PDFOutlook.dll is installed, but it doesn't seem to work.

So I checked my registry to see if there was a problem there. Here is where
I went and what I found:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outl ook\Addins\PDFMOutlook.PDFMOutlook"

(Default) REG_SZ (value not set); CommandLineSafe REG_DWORD 0x0000000 (0);
Description REG_SZ PDFMOutlook; FriendlyName REG_SZ PDFMOutlook; LoadBehavior
REG_DWORD 0x0000003 (3).

Thanks in advance, folks. I'm getting desperate.

Which version of Acrobat are you using? I belive versions prior to 8 were
not compatible with Office 2007. So, even though they might show as
installed, the toolbars wouldn't necessarily show up or work.

Version 7.0.9.

Are you certain? What site(s) can you refer me to to confirm that?

Adobe's website will confirm that. They only recently released the patch so
that v8 is Vista and Office 2007 compatible. Acrobat v7 will not be patched.

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/vistasupport.html
Acrobat 7.0 and earlier will not support Office 2007 or Office 2007 files.

While the PDFMaker toolbar doesn't work [properly] in Office 2007, the Adobe
PDF printer driver works fine. So, you can still access/use Acrobat 7's
capabilities going that route. In fact, I never used the PDFMaker toolbar
with Word/Office 2003, and haven't particularly missed it.

Choose File - Print, and set the printer to Adobe PDF. Click Properties in
the Print dialog for the "Adobe PDF Document Properties" dialog box.
