auto delete of e-mails
The software is microsoft office outlook Express 6.0, 2004
I have a sender who's messages automatically end up in my deleted file , though he is not on my blocked senders list. How do I fix so his messages will instead stay inmy inbox (I use POP)? I have tried repeadedly to mark as 'not spam', to no avail. |

Blocked Senders, a message rule, or a spam program that utilizes Deleted
Items for the junk folder are the only way it can end up there. Here is ho to check for Blocked Senders and any message rule that either moves mail to Deleted Items, or has Delete It as the action. If you do not find the address in BS or rules, it is your spam program. Find and remove a Blocked Sender address: OE | Tools | Message Rules | Blocked Senders List | Highlight the first address on the list | Click: Modify | Type in address you want to remove. Prompt: "This address already exists, are you sure you want to replace it?" Click Yes. The address will now be at the top of the list. Remove it. Note that the address that was at the top of the Blocked Senders list may also be removed. You might want to copy it down in case you need to re-enter it. To find an address in a message rule, click on Contains in the bottom box to open the Select People box and click on the first address. Tap the key for the first letter in the address and one-by-one each address beginning with that letter will be revealed until you find the one you are looking for. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "marct" wrote in message ... There is no "microsoft office outlook Express 6.0, 2004".
If the sender's email address is not listed in Blocked Senders, either another Message Rule is acting on his messages (filtering them to Deleted Items) or you've got a damaged identity. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ marct wrote: The software is microsoft office outlook Express 6.0, 2004 I have a sender who's messages automatically end up in my deleted file , though he is not on my blocked senders list.
