Default Package not loading

I made a package that loads fine on other machines but on my machine it gets
an error that states I must have Windows NT4 service pack 6 or higher(when I
try to load the package). The loading then stops and the installation is not
done

I just reformatted my hard drive and have XP professional as the OS. I have
windows service pack 2 loaded. The package is an access program using MS
office XP developer.

Do I need to load another service pack or is there anything else I should do.

Thanks

RI
