Default Missing minimize and maximize/restore...

Why are the buttons Minimize and Maximize/Restore missing in documentwindow in Word and PowerPoint 2003?
They still exist in Excel.
What´s the point?

The buttons for the window are the buttons for the document (except in the
last open document window).

I have been running this question through all the search=20
engines I can find, with out success as well.
"How Do I Maximize the File Open and Save As Dialog Boxes?"
It seems like such a simple thing doesn't it? V=B2

Maximize them (in Word 2002 and above only) by double-clicking on the title
bar. Restore the same way, but note that they will restore down to their
default size, not the size you may have resized them to.
