There are two accounts and the first one is ok but hte
second one gives me this error:
An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: POP3, Port 110,

Thanx in advance,

Default OE Unknown error

I called my ISP and they couldn't help. I am still able
to send email. It is not a newsgroup issue. I have shut
off email scanning in Norton. I just can't get the email
to download to my inbox. I can get my email on my ISP's
site but can't get it in OE. I would rather use OE. The
error msg is on both accounts (change from orig msg) as I
tried to forward email from the ISP site and I get the
same error for both accounts.
Thanx,
SE

It's possible that there is some corruption in the registry for the identity
in use. Try creating a new identity, switch to it and set up the problem
mail account in that identity and test it for awhile.

Although I suspect the problem is a poorly crafted HTML message from one of
the thousands (nay, millions) of Spam mails floating around the internet
that just delight in causing problems for ISP's and their customers by being
"stuck" in customer's Inboxes at the server. It's why so many of them are
derisively called "script kiddies" although the damage they create is no
longer a humorous childlike funny thing to contemplate.
