Outlook Express as of May 24th does not allow me to delete sent messages. I delete them as I normally would and when I go back into the sent messages mailbox the messages are still there. I know it makes no sense. I have tried changing the settings in Options in the Tools menu, but the blasted messages are still there. HELP!

The Deleted Items and /or the Sent Items files are corrupt.
Move messages that you want to keep out of both folders.
Close OE.
Search for deleted items.dbx and sent items.dbx. Search hidden files.
Delete both files.
Restart OE.
