Simple database with a simple form

Hello all. I'm new to the board, and fairly inexperienced with Access. I am trying to build a simple database that tracks the time it takes to start an order, and finish it.

Simply put, I have a database with the following:
Order
Part
Start
Stop

I'm trying to build a form that has the following
Order - Manual entry
Part - Manual engry
Start - Date and time stamped into this field when button is clicked.
Stop - (this can be a day or so later) Date and time stamped when button is clicked.

Like I said before, I'm pretty inexperienced at access and dont have any experience in Coding. I have a little understanding in SQL.

I know this is such a simple chore to someone with experience and wonder if anyone would take the time to lend a helping hand.

Your "start" command button would need the following code in its Click
event:

Me.txtMyStartTextBox = Now()

where txtMyStartTextBox is the name of the appropriate text box on the form.
You can duplicate functionality for this the "stop" button with name
changes. You'd probably need some code to make sure that the user clicks
the buttons in the right order in your form's Current event.
