Why cant I repair and compact my database?
An error message is given: "You attempted to open a
database that is already opened exclusively by user 'myAdmin' on machine 'SNGDH25LH31S'. Try again when the database is available." BUT User 'myAdmin' is myself and on verification, 'SNGDH25LH31S' is the machine that I was using. I will appreciate any help... Regards Joshua Foo

Regards Joshua Foo Try getting out of the database, then see if there is a locking file (yourfilename.ldb) still there, with no one else in the database at that time. Look at the permissions and security to see if the user has permission to
