Default Office Shortcut Bar w/ Office2003 and Windows XP

Running Windows XP Home; upgraded to Microsoft Office
2003. Trying to get Shortcut Bar to display. Doesn't
happen. From reviewing posts... appears like Shortcut Bar
is not feature w/ Office 2003. Is this correct? OR What
do I have to do to get the Shortcut Bar to display?

Thanks for your help...

Hi, woodsy57. The shortcut bar is not included with Office 2003. For workarounds, see http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;830180 "Frequently Asked Questions About the Office Shortcut Bar and Office 2003".

Removing the Office shortcut toolbar was an "improvement" in Office
2003. I got my Office Toolbar to dispaly by uninstalling Office 2003
and reinstalling Office 2000.

The office toolbar was removed because you can easily do the same thing
with the Quick Launch toolbar. It's already in XP and doesn't take up
nearly as many resources as the one that came with Office.
