You don't have to buy Publisher if you don't want it. Several editions of
Office are available. You'll just have to figure out which program you need and which you don't - then it's time to spend your money. Not before. I just found out that the employer offers free classes in excel and word
after hire--they forgot to tell me that!!! I almost drove myself crazy over nothing. You are so right about doing the "homework"--I did mine on the computer but not all of the software. Thanks to everyone for your input. I'll be back when (not IF) I have specific questions. Thanks again! "JoAnn Paules [MVP]" wrote: You don't have to buy Publisher if you don't want it. Take the classes!!! It's a rare person who learns absolutely nothing from a
computer class - except for the idiot who thinks he/she knows everything. I've just learned about a two day Excel class being offered locally and I'm tempted to take it. I'd have to pay for it myself but it sounds like a good class. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Me" wrote in message ... JoAnn Paules [MVP] was very recently heard to
utter: It's a rare person who learns absolutely nothing from a computer class - except for the idiot who thinks he/she knows everything. Guess that makes me a certifiable idjit then. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher |

Oh Ed! I can guarantee that you aren't one of those idiots. :-)
Of course, you could still be certifiable but that's another story. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Ed Bennett" wrote in message ... 'Round these parts, and 'parently 'round Ed's neck of the world, we's spells
it idjit. And we got klass - first, lower, no... As for the Excel test - congratulations. I've done the same thing and that amazes me because my Excel skills aren't terribly strong. But I have learned quite a lot over the last 6 months. My next venture will be to learn how to deal with time and date related formulas. Okay - now I have to get back to work on my newsletter. Publisher is alot more fun to use than Excel. :-) -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Me" wrote in message ... OK! You people are having WAY too much fun! Idjit iz speled igit. Git et rite! Hi! I've never seen Publisher. I bet EVERYTHING is more fun than all of this
accounting! I'd rather be in the music field. Don't ask me how I wound up in numberville! I'm sure your letter will be terrific. You have a great sense of humor! Take care.
