Default Mail folders are unsable ???

For the past couple of days the dozen mail folders in OE6 will not
stay in alpha order

Have never had this happen before ?

Several times I have put them back in alpha order only to have them
muddle up again ???

Also the mouse seems to be hyper sensitive ??

Have no idea whether is was something I did wrong ?

Appreciate info on how to fix this please

Many thanks
Bye

Define the mouse being hypersensitive. You may be /accidentally/ dragging
folders around.

Give an example of the folder tree and what happens.

Hi Bruce

Define the mouse being hypersensitive.

It wants to hi lite text that I dont want hi lited and tries to move
folders on the desk top when I just want to open one

Also while typing this email it 'disappeared' to the desktop

You may be /accidentally/ dragging
folders around.

No

Give an example of the folder tree and what happens.

These should be in alpha order -- Occasionally one or 2 folders have
moved themselves in the past . Its not difficult to put them back
into order again
This time these are really muddled up

Under the In box there are folders starting with B, then N, R, A ,M,
N and C . Under 'drafts' are one starting with A then S, L & O
I have moved these back into alpha order a couple of times but they
dont stay in order......... Weird ........... Never had these things
happen before

Any ideas please on how to fix this ??

Many thanks

Bye

You need to fix the mouse issue first. By accidentally dragging the folders,
I meant that the erratic behavior of the mouse may be to blame.

It could be Malware or a damaged identity, but I would still start with the
mouse first. It is obviously the easiest to do.

Hi Gerry

Main cause was a worn out wired mouse . Using the mouse from my lap
top on the PC. Will buy a new one tomorrow And one of those nasty
trojan horse viruses thats a sleeper . I downloaded some info from a
film printer reader at my local library to my flash drive . Uploaded
it to my PC . Didnt use the flash drive again for nearly a week . Went
to download a small file from a friends lap top and it made itself
known then

thank you

Did you get rid of the Trojan? I would run this freeware tool anyway and
keep it around.

Yes........... was Trojan horse PSW online Games 2Z . The film
printer reader that 'infected' my flash drive isnt connected to the
net. So some kind soul must have used a dodgy flash drive
