Default "511002.WINWORD.msp" Can't remove, modify, or install office

I get this error whenever I try to open, uninstall,
install, etc. any office program. There is a reference
in Knowledge Base for this, but the instructions don't
apply to me because my registry files are different.

Please help out before I have to reinstall my OS.

Thanks
