Seems to me you're also convering this in another newsgroup. Stick to a
single thread, please.

Something is wrong in how the password is being transmitted to Comcast. If
this were happening to me, I'd start over from the beginning with a new mail
profile.

I have done this several times.. Do you know where the password is
stored? I have also deleted the PSSP entry in the registry.

Sorry, no. Try mimicking a POP client from the Windows command prompt:

telnet mail.comcast.net 110 -- you type
+OK (rwcrpxc56) Maillennium POP3/PROXY server #61
user blairwilson -- you type
+OK Password required for "blairwilson"
pass yourpassword -- you type
+OK Username/password combination ok
quit -- you type
+OK comcast.net closing POP3 channel
